Jeff Peck

Jeff Peck is a retired engineer and Vietnam era veteran. He is located in Chagrin Falls Ohio where he lives with is wife of 53 years, Debbie. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Jeff’s career spanned over 40 years as a Maintenance Engineering specialist. Following his service in the USAF, he worked for IBM for nearly 20 years. He served in many management roles during this period. In 1993 he left IBM to work for third party providers of Maintenance services. He retired in 2014 and worked for 6 years as a maintenance consultant for large industrial firms.
Jeff has served his community as Chairman of the Schoolboard for four years. He has served as Chair of the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Tau Kapp Epsilon Fraternity for ten years and today works with the Alumni Association for the Fraternity. He also heads up a team of brothers who coordinate reunions for TKE alumni.
Jeff became involved with the Vis WWII Memorial Center in 2023 with his brother, Jim, the family historian. Jim was researching the death of Uncle Morris, a radioman on a B-24 bomber that attempted to land at the airfield on the island of Vis.
On a visit to Vis in October 2023, Jeff learned of the effort to establish a Memorial Center on Vis. Today he serves on the Foundation for Vis Island Advisory Board and is President of the Ohio Corporation Vis WWII Memorial Center.
